My name is Jessica Tackett and I am an aspiring artist and art educator in Shreveport, Louisiana. My passion is to teach art and spread the impact art can have in people's lives. I want to create an open environment in which inspires expression and creativity while facilitating learning for innovative thinkers. I want to be an intrinsic motivator, and I continuously want to increase my knowledge in education for myself and others. Having the background and experience with children, I have always been passionate in my belief to inspire students and have had the determination to seek their full potential in and outside of the classroom. I want my students to aspire for greatness and feel confident in all that they do. In being in Art Education, my passion for art and expression are indefinite. I believe students should express themselves and use art as an outlet for their best work and individuality. I believe teaching art will inspire them to do more, progress their imagination, and seek to find more in the world.
